Nice Jugs.....

The mark on the base of the following jug - I need to do some research on the maker.

I bought this in a charity shop a couple of weeks ago for £3.  A couple of days previously I had seen a dinner service that I could neither afford nor carry and sadly left it on the shelf!!

This jug belongs to my parents - they have the complete tea service, teapot, milk jug, sugar bowl and cups and saucers.  I've just asked my mum all about it.  They bought it in Courts in Brentwood in either late 1966 or early 1967 just after they had moved to a new house (I was about 13 at the time!) It was made by Johnson Brothers in England.  My dad says they had a dark red Corsair at the time!!

I found this little jug at a table top sale it cos me £2.50.

The marking on the base of the previous jug!
Close up detail of bracelet in brick stitch that Dot showed me how to do on Monday.

The completed bracelet - I used a silver coloured press stud fastener.
