Shopping trip....

Bought some buttons and ribbon in the market - have a little plan for these - watch this space!!

After coffee at Coffee Love - I wandered round the charity shops and found some more 1960s pottery.

Two soup bowls with an interesting design - and when I got home I discovered it is the same design but in a different colourway as a set of cups, saucers and plates!
Loved the fruity design on this coffee pot - and only £1.50 - BARGAIN!

Cool lid.
Last week I made yet another beaded choker in the Russian Spiral pattern - this time I used three different large beads and this was the result....

One of the girls at Beading Club had this idea of using different coloured large beads and her green one looked FAB.  I'm pretty pleased with this blue one.

Some lucky lady who has just had a baby is in for a surprise when this drops through her door.  Hope you like it Joe!!

Russian Spiral

This is the necklace we started making at bead club on Monday - Unfortunately I only have one magnetic fastener, so I decided to make the second one and use it for that. This one is made from seed beads and bugle beads.

This is a choker made entirely from seed beads.

This is a close up of the multi-coloured choker - love it!!

A little beading friend!

I started making another one using a large seed bead where the bugle bead had been in the first one.  Think I'll try and find a gold clasp for this one!

Birthday Card for someone beginning with H

Hope she likes it - unfortunately it's a bit late!  I used my mum's butterfly stamps and used Stazon on shiny card.  Mum also had some alphabet brads but I used my own paper flowers, ribbon and card!!  Thanks mum!

Japanese Bags with Tulip Tassels

I just had to try out my new sewing machine by making these cute little jewellery (English spelling!!) bags! I should have taken a photo of the insides too, because the linings are really lovely.  And over on Cotton Confetti you can see the small quilt I just finished in time for this evenings Embroiderer's Guild Meeting.
