So where's the Apple Tree?

Here it is....

The apples are about 2 inches across at the moment.

This is a miniature tree - growing to about 6 - 8 feet tall.  It has three different varieties of apple, so it's self fertilising! (Technical gardening stuff there - hope you're impressed!)

And while I'm taking photos of the apple tree - here are the two oak trees.  These were planted on 20 October 2008 from acorns taken from my late brother's oak tree.

On Sunday Scrappers they made this little book from a sheet of card - so I made one too - it has spaces for little tags.

Then they made a little wallet - again from a sheet of card - it should have been double sided, but I didn't have any to hand.  I also felt it needed a sleeve to keep it together.

An ATC ~I made to celebrate the jubilee

It stands up like an easel

and this is the inside

Two weeks ago on Sunday Scrappers they showed us how to make a triangle book, I covered mine with 'Paris' papers - we went to Paris in 2000 and I still haven't put the photos anywhere!

I artistically arranged 'French Flag' ribbon around the mini book.

A crochet baby play mat. (hope I haven't shown you this before)  I finished it a few weeks ago.

Surprise!

The village covered in snow!  Taken from the viaduct.

Artistic shot of my footprint!  Or not!

I finished this necklace at bead club on Monday

And this is a close-up of it.

A close-up of one I made earlier

Cute little bracelet using some left over crystals and some tiny seed beads.

Nuts to you!

Peyote stitch bracelet for a man?

Close up of a Potawatmee bracelet.

Potawatamee bracelet

Another cute bracelet with Swarowski crystals and tiny seed beads.

I made this ATC to thank the maker of the tag I received a couple of weeks ago.

The theme this month for the Craft Stamper swap is Gothic Arches, this was a practice.  I have inked the background with Distress Inks and then stamped the tree.  I stamped two owls on shrink plastic, coloured them with pencils and cut them out.  I stuck them on the card with Diamond Glaze.

Calendar

I am doing a calendar challenge which I saw on another blog - you make a 1-1/2 inch square for each day of the year and at the end of the month put them on your blog for all to see. Tomorrow I shall find out how to link up to the other blog so you know what I mean. But for today I am going to try and upload the other ATC photo. I'm clicking the 'add image' thingy on here and nothing is actually happening - well I'm off now and will try again tomorrow..... It's on it's side again - will try do something about it tomorrow!!

Oh YES!!! I have successfully worked out how to turn my photos round and find them again and publish them on here. It was worth having a day of work to do it!! Well I didn't really want a day off work but I got into Bradford and ALL the buses were suspended, so I wasn't going anywhere. Where I did go was Caffe Nero, who were doing a roaring trade in coffee, so I was on my second soya latte when my boss rang and told me to go home - so I did at 10.30 when the buses started running again! ATC for the new year

Last year my mum made me an ATC for each month... well I finished my City and Guilds course in November and now have all the time in the world, so I am going to try and make her one each month. Here is my first one... No I have no idea how to turn the photos round.... I have F-spot photo editor... not really sure how to use it.... HELP!!!

Thanks Tom - it doesn't seem to be that easy! I think they are png files not jpg, but I sorted it a bit by changing it with Firefox web browser. Next time - I'll just put them on my laptop - turn them round and put them on here. And now it doesn't seem to let me add another photo.
